At Breaux Ranch Rescue and Rehab, we believe every horse deserves to feel safe, valued, and loved.
We welcome horses in need with open hearts, giving them the patience, compassion, and steady care they need to heal at their own pace. Every horse’s story is different, so we care for each one as an individual. Through safe shelter, nourishing food, veterinary and farrier care, and gentle daily attention, we work to bring comfort and dignity to their lives.
A horse’s past does not define the love and care they deserve today. With the help of the people who stand beside us, we are creating a place where horses can be met with kindness, every single day.

At Breaux Ranch Rescue and Rehab, caring for horses is a promise we keep every day. Each horse comes to us with their own needs, personality, and past. We take the time to get to know them, earn their trust, and give them the care they need at a pace that is right for them.
That care takes hard work. It means feeding, cleaning, checking on each horse, maintaining safe spaces, and making sure they receive veterinary and farrier attention when needed. Some days bring small steps forward; others call for extra patience. We show up for both.
We believe healing begins when a horse can count on gentle hands and consistent care. Whether a horse needs time to grow comfortable around people or ongoing support for a health condition, we work to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved.
Behind every full feed bucket and quiet moment of trust are people committed to doing the work. We cannot change what a horse has been through, but we can care for them with compassion today—and keep showing up for their tomorrow.

Little Horse
Little Horse had been so severely abused and neglected that trusting people did not come easily. With time, patience, and plenty of love, Little Horse has become a spunky little firecracker with so much love to give.
Buddy Ole Boy
Buddy Ole Boy lives with significant arthritis, so his comfort and care are an important part of each day. With attentive care, his affectionate personality shines.
Nixy Doodle
New to the familyNixy Doodle is one of the newest members of the Breaux Ranch family. Though still settling in, Nixy Doodle already seems right at home—and we’re looking forward to sharing more of this sweet horse’s personality as we get to know each other.
Betty Davis
New to the familyBetty Davis is also new to the family, but it feels as though she has been with us forever. We’re so happy to welcome her and give her the care, kindness, and sense of belonging every horse deserves.
